I was so inspired by the 11th Hour DVD and special features on solutions that I purchased six more copies to pass around. I sent the original #101 to my sister who teaches high schoolers. She just happens to be planning a focus topic on sustainability! I sent a copy (with a new number of #150) to a friend in San Francisco who is an activist, works for a non-profit, and teaches about environmental issues in schools. I sent another copy (#152) to a friend in Arizona. I have three more to send out still. I am keeping one to share with faculty at the California State University Channel Islands where I work. The CSUCI has a strategic initiative on sustainability. I am participating in the committee addressing this initiative and I have lots of ideas of what the university can put in place to contribute to reducing our foot print.

We received the “11th Hour” DVD through our congregation. We watched it and passed it on. Another person has watched it and passed it on. We forgot to write the DVD number down. But we wanted someone to know that the disk is making its way around, even if we aren’t tracking it properly.

Thanks to everyone helping with this. It just helps strengthen our resolve to try and do the right things ecologically.
